WE ALL HAVE A BASIC NEED OF BELONGING

It takes conscious action, empathy, and process to create a team where each member feels a sense of belonging, is inspired, and contributes with their strengths A team where each member sees the bigger picture and what is best for the company. At the same time he/she should feel valued, developed, and contributing. This requires a clearly communicated goal, alignment of expectations, and that solutions to specific obstacles are found.

FROM A GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS TO A TEAM WITH A SENSE OF COMMUNITY

When I first meet teams, they often perceive themselves as a group of people more than an actual team.

It might be due to a lack of agreed goals and expectations, which is solved with an engaging and agreed plan. However, it may also be due to deeper challenges such as a lack of trust, lack of recognition, insufficient communication and / or motivation. It might also be due to confusion or uncertainty about changes. Or maybe it is simply a new member of the team that hasn’t been given the chance to form his/her role yet.

It can be vulnerable as we all have a basic need to feel a valued part of something.

A team assignment is never just another assignment, I have a sincere wish to see each individual, the team, and the company succeed. I get involved with all of my experience and my entire toolbox. It is a strength of mine to “read the room” and see each individual while at the same time keeping focus on the bigger picture and goals.

I take pride in being present and customize the session to the team instead of pulling a concept of the shelf. It is my job to unite the team through a shared goal, turn challenges around and bring everyone into action.

IN TEAM COACHING WE TAKE AS A STARTING POINT THE TEAM’S SPECIFIC SITUATION, CHALLENGES AND WISHES

Team coaching is adapted to the wishes of the individual company/leader and the needs of the team and can be put together in many ways. Thus, it will always be specifically about your team and your challenges.
